Member Art Show "After The Fire"

Curated by Helena Bowman, this exhibition is being formed in recognition of the wildfires that scorched the wilderness in California. “After the Fire” the winter rains will bring out regrowth and rebirth in the scorched wilderness and forests, and all BAA members are invited to envision that landscape and submit their artwork for the show.

Take in will be February 2 from 10 am – 12 pm.

The reception will be February 8 from 3 – 5 pm.

Pick up will be February 22 from 10 am – 12 pm.

Program - Mosaic Demo

Karen Sachs and Dave Hanson will do a demo about multi-media mosaics. They’ll talk about how astonishingly versatile mosaics can be — how they can create pieces that are realistic or abstract or geometric; decorative or functional; ancient or modern. They’ll give an overview on the varieties of materials and adhesives used in the process and talk about some of the techniques they use when making mosaics. You won't want to miss this presentation by our own BAA members!
