In my studio in Burbank, California, I created meticulously thrown, carved, and fired ceramics
designed to stand out—each piece possessing a distinct personality of its own. My work draws
inspiration from the Mid-Century Modern design movement of the late 1950s and 1960s,
combining unique, sculptural forms with bold graphic patterns of my own design.

Through extensive research and experimentation, I have developed a signature glaze palette
that complements the deeply carved surfaces of each piece. The resulting interplay between
form, texture, and vibrant color creates a striking balance of modern styling and expressive
detail.

Working primarily in porcelain and stoneware, I produce both functional and wall-mounted
works. My wall pieces are crafted from hand-carved slabs and presented in custom hardwood
frames, blending ceramic artistry with architectural presentation.

I am a graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts, where I studied under Viola Frey,
Art Nelson, and Peter Voulkos. I continue to collect and study vintage pottery, an ongoing
source of inspiration that fuels further exploration and evolution in my work.
