This Art Exhibit emphasizes the importance of taking care of our environment. Here Helena’s collection of artworks focuses upon the delicate ecosystem of the ocean. The art displayed in the gallery starts with a walk along the Los Angeles River. The birth in the mountains above the San Fernando Valley to Long Beach where it reaches the ocean. From there, the art fans out into the realms of the ocean: beaches, tidepools and the open water.  Helena uses recycled and repurposed materials in her artworks.

Two guest artists bring their own vision to the show: Yvonne Jongeling and Stefanie Girard. Yvonne’s famous “LA River Memories” is on display and Stefanie’s tantalizing small works with eco-activism messages.
