“I strive to create art that touches the soul and renews the spirit. I believe my art can inspire others to reflect on the deeper symbolic meanings in their own lives and to see what is sacred in the world around them."

Karen is an acrylic and glass mosaic artist. It all started when a Co-worker suggested that I purchase a pre-stretch canvas and paint my own painting to put above my couch. As color exploded on the canvas, I learned that creativity makes me happy. It takes me out of my funk. I am also into learning about yourself and I created Paint Your Essence where you learn about YOU through art. You get to play, have fun, and become the best that YOU can be. How does it get any better than that? Come find out!
I stumbled across this fantastic medium of glass 16 years ago while I was doing ceramics. Wow! What a challenge to get a good shape, a strong design composition, and to fire a piece without it bubbling or cracking.
“My art creates a balance to the everyday discipline of the chaotic business world in which I thrive. There are no limits and no restrictions. Just contemporary, three-dimensional art. I feel blessed to create freely and passionately.”
My background in Architecture and Design, and my persistence, has brought me to this level so far. I love the challenge, and there is always more to learn.
Walter is a self-taught artist inspired by delighted wonders of nature. He positively maintains a significant motivation for capturing light and rendering it on the canvas.

Chicago native, now LA local. Growing up, art has always been an important part of my life. During my years after college at Western Illinois University where I majored in Art, I grew as an artist. Utilizing classic skills, mixed with urban influences and natural elements, I developed a bold and colorfully vibrant take on fauvism and Impressionism. I enjoying working with bright colors and I paint what makes me happy. I currently work in acrylic on canvas.
Works in oils on canvas or panel, including landscapes, old buildings, ancient stuff, and the old west. See rencolantoniart.com for information.
